ROLLO'S Discography

The music Rollo made — and the music he made possible — stretches across decades of Brisbane’s underground. From punk chaos to experimental side-projects, from live-to-air recordings to DIY tapes traded hand-to-hand, his work carries the rhythm, humour and raw honesty that defined him.

This collection brings together the songs, albums, sessions and collaborations that shaped his life and left a mark on countless others. It’s part history, part memory, and all heart — a sonic map of Rollo’s world.

Brentyn "Rollo" Rollason didn't just front a band — he bent sound to his will.

Blowhard's discography is a map of that bend: brass-heavy punk, chaotic swing, noise-driven storytelling, and the unmistakable heartbeat of Brisbane's underground. These releases aren't just records; they're living artefacts of the rooms, people, and communities that grew around Rollo's thunder.

This page gathers Blowhard's official releases, rare recordings, compilation appearances, and scene-defining contributions — preserving a catalogue that continues to inspire musicians, punks, weirdos, horn players, and trouble-makers in Brisbane and beyond.

Splurt Records

Splurt Records wasn’t just a label — it was a lifeline. Rollo built it the same way he built everything: loudly, generously, and with no interest in waiting for permission.

Through Splurt, he pressed the bands no one else would touch, released CDs nobody else had time for, and showed countless young punks how to get their music into the world. If you needed advice, a label to take a punt, or a chaotic champion in your corner — Rollo was there.

Blowhard and Splurt grew side-by-side, feeding Brisbane’s punk underground for decades. This section of the archive gathers every known Splurt release, collaboration, flyer, compilation appearance, and label artefact — the scaffolding of a scene.

Collector Notes

This is not the final list.

DIY scenes survive because people hoard flyers, tape gigs, burn CDs, and never throw anything out. If you have a recording, tape, CD-R, flyer, photo, or note in a shoebox, we want it.

Every item helps complete the picture of a band — and a frontman — who turned Brisbane’s underground into a family.

Submit Missing Recordings

Have an old tape? A live CD-R? A weird recording someone handed you at a gig in 1994?

Blowhard’s history exists in shoeboxes, glove compartments, dusty boxes under beds, and forgotten hard drives.

If you’ve got audio, video, scans, or photos that help complete this archive, please share them here.
